Which way to some snow?

At the end of the hottest October ever (with temperatures this weekend of over 22 degrees Celcius) I bought myself some new snowboardgear...

First of: a new pair of boots: Burton SL8. Making me feel like Mr T. in T. & T. (anybody remembers him putting his foot down on the lockerbench to tie his laces? Well....that kind of impression my new SL8's will make... ). These are probably the stiffest and most leathery boots around (and believe me....I have tried them allmost all: Burton Driver X? Too loose, Salomon F22? Too much heellift....) Fancy lacing system, extra rigid inserts and no heellift at all (and did I mention...leather?) Can't wait to plant them in some fresh powder!! And, next to that; a new pair of pants. Also from Burton; Ronin Cargo; with more pocket than I could ever need! And more waterresistant than a goldfish.. Well, bring on the snow...!
