Just had an amazing dinner! New small restaurant on the corner of Witte de With and Eendrachtsstraat in Rotterdam. Four courses of biologically sound produced food, accompagnied by a great selection of wines, everything cooked in a woodoven. Nice atmosphere, good service: one to visit again! And, added bonus: open on mondays, which is a rarity in Rotterdam...
Test it yourselves.... clickerdieclick
Went to the Stedelijk, where since everyones attention was for the overview of Magnum (which also absolutely fine...) I took advantage of the silentness on the other floors... And saw a great setup of prior works of Tobias Rehberger where the sum is absolutely more than the seperate parts! An extensive number of his installations has been lined up next to a long white wall. The shadows of the floodlights on some of the pieces create a new piece of art on that wall. Great! Some pictures here...
Over the last few weeks a team of 5 of our most talented people made our new website... Finally you're able to see the faces behind the projects, see what occupies our mind on daily basis, have a decent overview of our recent projects and even have a chance to see us in action (on the homepage or flickr) enjoy, and let me know what you think!

Yesterday Rotterdam commemorated the bombardment of 14th of May 1940. Lights marked the border of the devastating fire in the city centre. Frans made this beautiful picture.
Very nicely done: the new Wieden + Kennedy-site. Take at least half an hour....
well, the very famous 'got milk'-campaign (official, wiki) has launched a sister site: Get the Glass!. can't find a lot on the interweb about the campaign, the relationship with 'got milk' or who the brains behind this are, but it is very, very entertaining. tip of the hat to whoever designed this masterpiece.
Hahahaha....Some sticky scientists these must be: that is what happens when you combine 200 liters of Diet Coke and over 500 Mentos mints! That and some visual extravanganza..... See here.

the Seattle Public Library not only has one of the most beautiful housings in the world (by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas) but also a very nice installation: Making Visible the Invisible. Link: Boijmans van Beuningen - Home. Went to Rotterdam yesterday to see, 'Robert Crumb: a chronicle of modern times', at the Boijmans. While this was a very nice exhibit, i was more surprised by one of their installations. At the entrance to the museum a huge wall is build, stuffed with all different pieces of art from the vaults of the museum. Having no particular order or theme, it does great work in showing the depths of the collection. In front of the wall are three plexiglass screens on which a projection in outlines of the part of the wall in front of you is shown. Standing in front of one of these screens with a motion sensor above your head, you can move the projection over the screen, and thus show more of the wall. Touching one of the outlines of the work zooms you in to the particular piece and depending on the piece,
